On June 15th, 2009 Beacon Application Services acquired the majority of the assets of Newmerix Software, including all intellectual property and the Newmerix product suites relating to Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise and E-Business Suite, Automate! for PeopleSoft and Automate! for EBS.

Newmerix will run as a separate business unit of Beacon.

All Newmerix PeopleSoft customers have been returned to active maintenance status, and will remain on maintenance at no charge until July 31st, 2009.

Beacon intends to actively maintain and enhance the Newmerix products for PeopleSoft, and subsequent Fusion Applications. No plans have been announced for the EBS products.

Beacon is a leading consulting firm, focused exclusively on Oracle's PeopleSoft applications, working with PeopleSoft customers since becoming one of PeopleSoft's "Original 13" Alliance Partners in 1993.
